Verizon Prepaid Blackberry

The Blackberry Curve 9330 with 3G has many features. The 2 Megapixel Camera has a 5x Digital Zoom and is capable of doing video capture with the press of just a button. Just like all other Blackberrys the Curve 3G 9330 has also a fantastic QWERTY keyboard, it typed perfect much better then those on-screen touch keyboards which the iPhone has. This is quite likely the reason for the enormous success of the Verizon prepaid blackberry deal.

Expanding the Blackberry's memory

The MicroSD Memory expansion slot can handle up to 32GB of MEM. With the built-in Blackberry media player you’re able to watch movies in several video formats. The Bluetooth v2.1 has a A2DP to create perfect Stereo sound, which is pretty usefull when you’re calling with a bluetooth headset but especially when you listening to music over bluetooth. This Verizon Prepaid Blackberry equipped with WiFi which can be used for 802.11b and 802.11g, but most of the time I personally use the 3G connection but when you’re at home you could let it connect to your home wireless network with this WiFi.

I almost forget to mention the Blackberry Curve 3G 9380 is a Verizon Prepaid Blackberry with also a built-in GPS. I almost use it every day with my car navigation and I would almost forget to note it down here.

The BlackBerry Bold 9930

This Blackberry Bold 9930 is the one which I own myself. I have it now for about a month and I’m really satisfied with this Verizon Prepaid Blackberry. I had already several other Verizon prepaid wireless phones, but this is my second Blackberry with a Verizon Prepaid Plan. This model has less features than the Blackberry Curve which I described above. The Blackberry Bold has a 2GB MicroSD card pre-installed and can handle up to 16GB instead of 32GB like the Curve. Bluetooth has stereo support just like the Curve which means you can listen to music over bluetooth just like a wired headphone. Of course the Blackberry Bold 9930 has that fantastic QWERTY keyboard with a trackpad navigation to quickly select what you want to select. You could also use the integrated speaker Phone, but if you’re in a noisy place this is not what you really want, I always prefer a bluetooth headphone instead of the built-in/integrated Blackberry speaker Phone. The Blackberry OS has also a Media Player which is capable of playing most of your video formats without problems. Something which the Blackberry Bold does not has is WiFi, I don’t mind myself, I use 3g all the time with my Verizon Prepaid plan.

Blackberry Bold compared to the Curve

Both the Blackberry Bold 9650 and the Blackberry Curve 9380 are capable of doing Skype Phone calls, which will reduce your costs for sure. As long as you have a steady 3G internet connection, calling with skype is as good as you would normally call with your cell Phone. Both Blackberry models have all the V CAST stuff, like V Cast music with rhapsody (with PC downloads), VZ Navigator  Global capable, V Cast Media Manager and is capable of running all the V Cast Application. Even though WiFi is not built-in or included be default the Blackberry Bold is still capable of having WiFi. Like explained earlier the Blackberry Curve does have WiFi built in. You can find Verizon Blackberry updates and Verizon Blackberry Software on the website of Verizon itself.
